Day 2
Starting today even rougher. I got out of bed late, but coffee is ready. Today’s coffee is a mix of peppermint and regular brews. I added more peppermint flavor and also put in some dairy free sweetened condensed milk. Made Kodiac waffle mix with some peppermint flavoring. The chocolate flavor is mild, so I use the coffee flavoring to add to it. Made it a bit thin this time, so got more technically. And it’s sitting gingerly on my stomach.
I had a good morning edit wise. I got through a complete chapter, along with half of the second chapter planned. Putting this challenge is making me move faster and make easier decisions on the edits for the draft than I expected. Even when I’m not feeling up to doing it, once I get started, it just is easy and relaxing to do.
Day 3
Today is not going so well. I got the rest of the day to get more done, but I'm not hopeful. It's looking like today needs to be a grocery day. I'm still waiting for my pay check to come in. I made the last of my vegan eggs and did not set off the alarm for the hashbrowns. This is mainly because I opened the front door as soon as I started it. It's been raining. I did another coffee with peppermint but it was the last of my coffee.
I finished the second chapter, which puts me to my first goal for edits of a new flavor of coffee. What is the coffee flavor? A bottle that has been sitting in a hidden spot: s'mores. I've been looking forward to what I consider a flavor of summer.
Day 4
I fell asleep as soon as I got home from groceries the day before. I'm throwing this together as soon as I get up and am about to leave for work since I woke up late. No more words and my coffee will have to be postponed until I get home from work.
I have a small bug and it is draining me right now. So, I may not get any words at all in or any edits. I just want to nap.
